The Deceived
by E.C. Fisher

What if the Bible was a con devised by none other than Lucifer himself? What if The Rapture came, and it was a trick? In E.C. Fisher’s biblical thriller The Deceived, it is the devil who is behind religion, and everyone from Adam and Eve on up are in the thrall of his lies. But as the End of Days plays out on Earth—a ploy designed by Lucifer to give the world to his followers—the archangel Michael is sent down to earth from heaven, where he must battle the devil to save God’s children—not to mention the planet. As God lays dying in heaven, and Lucifer kidnaps Michael’s soulmate, Ari-el—Michael must face not only the potential of demons overtaking earth, but the loss of both his Father and his one true love. Armed with the Sword of the Spirit, forged from God’s own powerful wings, Michael sets out to destroy the Antichrist, and thereby bring an end to the deadly masquerade that is Lucifer’s religion. Written with the verve of a contemporary adventure fantasy, and the deep, complex knowledge of a religious thriller, The Deceived is a harrowing tale that reflects the rifts and tensions of our modern political moment. This is the story of Revelations that you do not know, but one that you will not be able to put down.

Camping in High Heels
by Miki Bennett

Kate Palmer loves her job. Why wouldn’t she? As a travel blogger, she gets paid to take five-star vacations. Then one of her loyal readers asks her to travel “like the rest of us.”

After dining, relaxing, and enjoying only the best of every city in the most luxurious fashion, Kate isn’t sure that she or her high heels can manage the camping life. Learning to drive and to set up a motor home was only the beginning. As she travels to New Orleans to Texas to New Mexico, Kate experiences a brand-new kind of adventure. Who knew that she’d ever tackle the campground bathhouse (bring Raid with you), tarantulas (unwelcome dinner guests), and bats (best observed while holding an umbrella)?

But things become brighter when she bumps into fellow camper, Brandon. Seeming to run into one another at each campground, it gets harder for Kate to ignore the sparks between them.

As Kate’s journey teaches her to appreciate the great outdoors, she also makes friendships along the way. And she just might have found love, too.

What Happened
by Hillary Rodham Clinton

*Sharing this one today because it has broken tons of sales records. Whether or not you like Hillary, there are lessons to be learned from her book - inside and out.

“In the past, for reasons I try to explain, I’ve often felt I had to be careful in public, like I was up on a wire without a net. Now I’m letting my guard down.” —Hillary Rodham Clinton, from the introduction of What Happened

For the first time, Hillary Rodham Clinton reveals what she was thinking and feeling during one of the most controversial and unpredictable presidential elections in history. Now free from the constraints of running, Hillary takes you inside the intense personal experience of becoming the first woman nominated for president by a major party in an election marked by rage, sexism, exhilarating highs and infuriating lows, stranger-than-fiction twists, Russian interference, and an opponent who broke all the rules. This is her most personal memoir yet.

In these pages, she describes what it was like to run against Donald Trump, the mistakes she made, how she has coped with a shocking and devastating loss, and how she found the strength to pick herself back up afterward. With humor and candor, she tells readers what it took to get back on her feet—the rituals, relationships, and reading that got her through, and what the experience has taught her about life. She speaks about the challenges of being a strong woman in the public eye, the criticism over her voice, age, and appearance, and the double standard confronting women in politics.

She lays out how the 2016 election was marked by an unprecedented assault on our democracy by a foreign adversary. By analyzing the evidence and connecting the dots, Hillary shows just how dangerous the forces are that shaped the outcome, and why Americans need to understand them to protect our values and our democracy in the future.

The election of 2016 was unprecedented and historic. What Happened is the story of that campaign and its aftermath—both a deeply intimate account and a cautionary tale for the nation.

What is the unique and most important feature that distinguishes man from all other living beings? Why is it that, contrary to the instinct of self-preservation, a parent will throw themselves headlong into fire or water to save their child? Why do people get married and why do they get divorced? Why do people have extra-marital affairs and why do two people in a couple become jealous of one another? What is Love? When and why did the type of sex emerge among human beings that is free of any reproductive function?

Why are the social and behavioural distinctions between men and women being rapidly erased? Why, despite everything, is the world becoming more tolerant than it was in previous centuries? People are born with different intellectual, spiritual and physical capabilities. So why do we assert that all people are equal? Can the world without violence exist? If not, under what circumstances and to what kind of violence does man have a right? Wherein lies the origin of this right?

Where is the root of our morality? Why do our moral values change over time? Do absolute moral values exist? Why has Man, on the whole, never observed (or perhaps is incapable of observing) a set of various religious commandments? Should we observe them? Are they the decree of God? By which “commandments” do we really live our lives and is it possible to formulate them in such a way that we could realistically observe them? What is Good? And what is Evil? Is there a simple criterion by which one may distinguish Good from Evil?

In which direction is humanity evolving and is it governed by some universal law? Is there any meaning to life? Is it possible to give a clear and straightforward answer to all these questions? It is, in fact, possible!

 Goodbye, My Love
by Maggie Tideswell

A love that cannot be denied ~ and a love that cannot be. Who will win? It’s only a matter of time.

Jessica James needs a new job and her only prospect as a nanny is with a remotely located veterinarian who only wants a “mature” candidate. But youthful Jess has faced tougher challenges, and she is determined to show the very handsome yet rude widower that she is the perfect choice to care for his autistic 4-year-old daughter, no matter how much he scowls.

Dr. Ben Arnold is still grieving, and not only about the recent death of his beautiful wife. He is still coping with the knowledge his profound love for her was unreciprocated. The demands of working and taking care of Amber, his autistic young daughter, have Ben overwhelmed and the last thing he needs is an insanely strong physical reaction to a nanny who is the first to seem to connect with his beloved delicate daughter – and the last he thinks he can handle in his life.

Jess is an unseasonal storm to suddenly sweep through Ben’s life, and may be the balm he needs. While strange occurrences all around them defy answers and explanations, the unexpected arrival of Ben’s late wife’s sisters, including her identical twin, on the one-year anniversary of her death does nothing to help dispel the intense and instant desire between Jess and Ben – and Jess’ glimpses of a life long past only adds to the surreal sense of the estate called Weltevreden.

History. A record, not always accurate as it was often written by the victor, of the events that led up to the here and now.

But there is another history, a history forgotten by the historians of the race of Man, one that is remembered by those who themselves exist only in myth and folklore. A history from the dawn of this world when Man walked with Elves and Dwarfs, from before the great sleep that saw the Dinosaurs thrive and die. A history from the time of magic. But that was long ago and is long forgotten.

Until now.

Salvation (Survive) (Volume 1)
by Veronica Smith

18 years after the “Blistering Flu” decimated humanity and gave rise to the world of fear and sorrow that is now owned by the dead, the remnants of humanity continue to fight for their right to live. Regrettably nothing has changed in the mentality of man. Very quickly people had separated into factions that declared war on each other. These petty wars did us no good. They detached us from what was rising in the wastelands... Will humanity be able to survive what is coming or will we continue to be assistants to our own destruction?

New Hampton is bloodthirsty. The streets are a cesspool. Greed and corporate necessity rule the overcrowded city.

A mysterious doctor, his young protégé and a monstrous enforcer are playing gods, their wanton destruction going unchecked. The city’s Mayor seeks vengeance and believes the doctor’s work is the key to achieving redemption. These men will change the city forever, for better or worse remains to be seen.

Crime is rife on the streets and only a few brave, have-a-go heroes, seem willing to plunge themselves into the depths of depravity to intervene and, ultimately, save the city from forces it is seemingly oblivious to.

A handful of extraordinary individuals must decide where they fit in within the changing landscape of the indomitable city of New Hampton. Run? Hide? Fight? The ramifications of their decisions will echo throughout the city.

New Hamptoners look out for number one, slaves to the omnipresent man. Can the city survive this maelstrom or will the meddling powers-that-be doom everyone...

The problem might be that the world doesn’t find it particularly tolerable, because life is going on and no-one’s really doing anything, except enjoying themselves. That’s got to stop, there’s work to be done!

Evaline Transcendent

Evaline Transcendent
by Timothy Bateson

Evaline is the shipboard computer on the Miranda Two, a colony ship destined for the planet Karman-III-Delta. She is possibly Earth's last hope of establishing a working off-world colony. However, her predecessor stopped reporting home, so now she and the colonists must establish what happened to the previous colony.

The Miranda Two has been traveling for twenty years, and now it's time for Evaline to wake the crew and colonists in preparation or arrival at their destination. Can Evaline and the crew figure out what happened to the Miranda One expedition, and what price will they have to pay for the answers?

Note From the Author: This is the second release of "Evaline Transcendent", which originally appeared in the "Across the Karman Line" anthology. Since that release, I have revisited the story and expanded on some aspects, and rewritten others. At it's core, this is exactly the same story but reimagined for a wide audience.

Originally standing at around 8,500 words, this new release boasts a word count of closer to 14,000. I hope that those of you who have read the original story will discover new aspects to it when reading this version. For those coming to it for the first time, enjoy!

Kleptomaniac: Who's Really Robbing God Anyway?
by Dr. Frank Chase Jr.

KLEPTOMANIAC, Who's Really Robbing God Anyway is a trek through the pages of the Bible to find the untwisted truth about the centuries-old teachings on tithes and offerings. Every page of this book has information that will make you become an analyst in getting to the bottom line of what tithing is in the Old and New Testament. It takes you on a journey to first define the word tithe and then breaks down the differences between giving and tithing as the Bible instructs.

The author attempts to expose what most people believe as fact to bring them to what the Bible actually teaches when it comes to true giving. Are the arguments put forth today about tithing fact or fiction? This book tackles tough questions like, did God ever require a tithe of money? Was the contents of the tithe always money in the Bible? Who is really robbing God today? Did God change the tithe at some point in biblical history? Are first fruits money? Is the tithe food, money or both? Is the church the storehouse? Did Jesus, Paul and the Disciples tithe? Did the early church honor a money tithe system? Are Christians really cursed for not tithing ten percent of their income? These questions will be answered based on scholarship, the land, the language and the literature of the original Biblical people. Not only will questions be answered for those confused about whether or not they are required to pay ten percent of their income to any religious institution, they will learn what the Bible really teaches about money and stewardship.

The author meticulously examines the word tithe in both the Hebrew and Greek language. To understand every Bible verse that contains the word tithe, the author gives context and definitive definitions for clarity of the text. This book also explains the concept of giving from a New Testament perspective without the mandate of ten percent and explains why the Apostle Paul never mentioned tithing to any of the New Testament congregations. From Genesis to Revelation, this book is about how to properly interpret biblical terms to arrive at the proper interpretation of a biblical text that refers to money or tithing. Because there are pros and cons about tithing, the author examines both tithing and non-tithing theological camps and presents analysis and conclusions so that the reader can make an informed choice as to how they will give in the future.

Since money is vital in every part of society and the church, this book spends a considerable amount of time detailing how money was used in the Bible to help readers know the difference between tithes and money. The tithing phenomenon has been around for centuries and this book is an expose' into the how the current doctrine came into existence and who the culprits were who played a major role in what churches teach today. Whether you agree or disagree with tithing as a viable doctrine, KLEPTOMANIAC is a back to the past look at Israel's history and how they practiced tithing in a theocracy.

This book also questions how tithing practices of today affect people financially and how those practices are unlike tithing practices of yesterday. Not only does this book challenge the accepted definitions of the tithe, it also questions the sustainability of the current practices, especially when economic times get tough for people who may not be able to give much.

From the very beginning to the end of the book, everything is supported by Scripture and research. You will know from the onset why the author, Dr. Frank Chase Jr., wrote the book and learn about his personal story of what happened as a result of embracing New Covenant giving principles from the New Testament. Not only does the book cover the Old Testament tithe, it also unveils what the New Testament teaches about giving by analyzing some of the epistles of Apostle Paul concerning his views and instructions on charitable giving.

Last Call for the Church
by Patricia C. McGlennon

There is a power shift coming, and a pivotal turning point in human history is on the horizon. Radical Islamic terrorism and the possibility of a nuclear war have overwhelmed the entire world. The safety net that once protected us has been broken. Prophetic events are speeding up! The global upheaval the world is currently witnessing is only the beginning of unimaginable chaos. Last Call for the Church delivers a powerful and convincing precept upon precept endtimes teaching on the Second Coming of Christ, the Rapture, and the crucial timing of why only the Father knows when His son will return. The author is a real-life storyteller, and she accomplishes the call to understand the Rapture of the church, what it will be like, and why Jesus found it necessary to teach in terms of a wedding, a bride, and to reference Himself as a Bridegroom. The author exclusively writes to you, the reader. She takes you on a classroom tour of prophecies and parables, and offers a strong case for an aggressive Pre-Tribulation Rapture based on Scripture, and the frequencies of current worldwide trends. She writes just as straightforward as she teaches. In Last Call for the Church, you will get a truly unique understanding of the Rapture, eschatologically, as it applies to a collective body of believers, referred to in the Bible as a bride, or better known as the Bride of Christ, the church. "Do not let your hearts be troubled," John 14:1.

P*ssywhipped: The Emasculation of Humanity
*Originally entitled Killing Adam

by Maya Emmett

Pussywhipped: The Emasculation of Humanity is a stinging in-depth look at the abuse of aggressive anger and its malignant effects on society. This highly controversial, politically incorrect work defends good men and their rights as fathers… infuriates unenlightened women, especially male-bashers… and champions the rights and needs of our children. As author Maya Emmett reflects on major life-changing events in her personal life with extensive updates, she passionately explores the role of religion, the victims of victims, the true nature of Woman and so much more. Experience varying degrees of emotional highs and lows as she fearlessly delves into the truth of our struggles to peacefully coexist, culminating with a thought-provoking love poem, which speaks to the soul of every man from the untainted spirit of every woman. New for 2017, from an enlightened man, is a beautiful complementary poem to the “hopeful” romantic in every woman.

Of note, this book was first published in 2000, under the reluctantly revised title, Killing Adam, due to widespread censorship on the Internet. After enduring constant publisher blunders and unethical actions, as well as blatant plagiarism, Maya severed ties and pulled it from the market. Through the years, however, she’s been encouraged to get it back on the market and finally made the decision to update and republish this work but with its original title, Pussywhipped. She believes the timing is right, considering the heightened awareness of the incendiary state of gender politics in this country, and its far-reaching effects on our society, especially our children.

Killing Adam The Emasculation Of Humanity by Maya Emmett is an extraordinary work whose time has come. Delivered with compassion and elegance, Ms. Emmett’s powerful call for understanding and restoration between the genders and her compelling insistence on a cease-fire in the gender war is a message that is long overdue. This book is an offered hand to much-maligned manhood and a shot of pure courage for women willing to take a stand and end the hostilities.” - Camille Moffat, Amazon Review posted August 8, 2000

"This book has successfully thrown a potential explosive into a very select and misunderstood arena, one that is jealously guarded and maintained. It is taboo to some, heresy to others, and a bitter glimmer of hope to more—in short, it is challenging, impossible for many to accept, and upsetting to a fragile status-quo and ego compulsory system." - Graeme W. Jones, Australia

Hearing His Voice
by Meredith Swift

Do you feel lost and isolated, as though you don't matter?
Do you feel tired and stressed, in need of replenishment and refreshment?
Do you want to find out more about the One who loves you more deeply, and knows you more thoroughly, than you could ever imagine?

Do you want to find out practical ways to grow your faith and walk more closely with Jesus?
Then this book is for you!

Meredith wrote this book during recovery from an extremely challenging time in her life - having gone through a divorce, resignation from her long term teaching job and relocation to a different city to access better services for her autistic daughter. Her daughter was also very unwell at this time, becoming bedridden by a mystery illness. All of this had left Meredith feeling exhausted, fearful, alone and very isolated.

Meredith knew she needed to strengthen her fragile spirit and overcome the fear of this time. She sought the guidance of Scripture and the assistance of the Lord Jesus Christ, knowing that only He could bring comfort and healing at the deep levels required. Meredith knew that her relationship with her Creator meant He was available 24/7 and so she started to schedule regular time where she communicated with Him. Covered with prayer and Scripture, Meredith visualised meeting Jesus in a beautiful garden that she came to know as the Garden of Promise - so named for the promises of goodness and grace found liberally throughout the Scriptures.

This book is the result of these communications - an unforgettable and inspiring journey of encouragement and healing, where Jesus spoke new life into Meredith's being. Her feelings of isolation lifted and she felt herself soothed, replenished and deeply loved by spending this time with the Lord Jesus Christ.

You, too, are invited to go on this journey through the pages of this book as you hear His voice and meet Jesus in the Garden of Promise.

Chant of a Million Women
by Shirani Rajapakse

Rajapakse explores identity, values and women’s role in society through the poems in Chant of a Million Women. She also looks at the concepts of beauty and the standards imposed on women to conform. Some of the poems are hard hitting and take on subjects that are uncomfortable to talk about like rape, female gender mutilation, abuse and male dominance. She talks about power and the quiet force that keeps half the world moving even when there is no hope.

The language is simple yet the thoughts and ideas are not. They rise from the depth of our very being to swirl through the pages compelling the reader to step into worlds created within the covers. There is magnificence and strength juxtaposed with violence and weakness as are other opposites such as the divine and human frailty. These poems are like a breath of fresh air, provoking, mesmerizing and entertaining.

Imagine you broke your leg and needed to wear a leg immobilizer over your knee and use crutches. How would you get into your house if you have steps but cannot bend your leg? How would you get dressed? How would you use the toilet, or get a shower? I know the answers because I am an Occupational Therapist, but I still was not fully prepared to sit on the other side of therapy.

Voyage of the Soul

It wasn’t that long ago that the world we live in was run differently. Some of the past still surrounds us, but is much less prevalent. The world of which I speak was controlled by money and power. Those who had it suppressed the weak and poor. The suppressed had no choice but to abide by the suppression. This show of power existed in every aspect of life, from love to war. During this time, bias and prejudice were ways of life. The wealthy did as they pleased. They married to keep status. This still happens today, but not to the same extent. Many were forced to learn to love, rather than be free to find it as were the poor. The poor could find their mate, rather than be forced into an arranged marriage. Love and life were very much dependent on the class into which you were born.

This book is the story of a man, who wished to be his own man. He knew his place in this world wasn’t what was given or laid out before him. Jacque wished to make his own way. During his exploits, he found himself on foreign and biased soil. This is where his life would change; it would begin. He fell in love with a woman he was forbidden to marry. Their love for each other carried them to places neither of them thought possible, both good and bad. This is a story not just about love, but life. Unfortunately, it is honest and true, for life is filled with as much happiness as it is pain. Here is Jacque, a Frenchman, who loved Elizabeth, an Englishwoman, and their story.

The Liberation of Paul

The Liberation of Paul
by Jim Donahue

When Paul Sarin befriends Riley Bennett one night at a bar, he couldn’t have imagined where this friendship would take him. Riley introduces Paul to a world of extreme retribution and revenge by taking him into the inner circle of the Elites. The Elites assist victims struggling with past abuse—and more often than not, their abusers. Riley and the Elites support victims in destroying their demons, in turn setting those victims free of the memories that have weighed them down. All victims confront their demons and handle them as they see fit. Riley eventually grows to almost messiah status with followers in the thousands.

A compelling psychological thriller, The Liberation of Paul explores the darkest and most twisted aspects of humankind and sheds a healthy beam of light on them in more ways than one. While the Elites are executing their orders, we peer into the mind of Paul, exploring his own pain, trauma, and hope. Good and evil exist in everyone, and the sheer effort to balance these attributes proves a fight in and of itself.
